Welcome to the first of many, many awesome and inspiring success stories for 2023!
We were introduced to Mr and Mrs G in May 2021. One of Mr G’s Army workmates was already a client of Axon, hence the introduction and very strong connection we forged quickly. They were posted to Canberra, neck-deep in demanding and very important roles within their respective careers.
As you can read from their review that I have included in the images, they really enjoyed the initial coaching series (which is a staple of every client’s journey with us). We map out the options, strategy and sync matrix which provides such clarity!
It was decided that buying their own home in Canberra was just not feasible, so we put a plan together for them to acquire an investment property. This way they can keep their ADF and Govt housing entitlements in their holster and use their cash in a meaningful way.
What you’re seeing here is the outcome of IP#1.

• Purchase price: $492K (FULL turn-key package)
• Land settlement: Dec 2021
• Key handover: Nov 2022 (this build duration was the standard, with no build delays)
• Expected rent at EOI: $400pw
• Actual rent: $510pw (it only took 6 days to find tenants)
• Comparable properties a few streets away are now selling for approx. $650K!

They love the property so much, their comment during the end-of-build coaching session was something like “many of the colours and concepts of this investment house we will bring into the (eventual) build of our dream home”.

The property is located in the fastest-growing region of SEQLD. The area still has billions of dollars of approved infrastructure with really strong population growth. I have included their reply to our standard profile question (How do you think Axon can help you?). Based on the outcome, I think we have delivered for these superstar clients!
Fast forward to now: they have been relocated to their next posting, another child under their arm, received promotions and they’re both contributing to the wider ADF capabilities and well-being. The planning for IP#2 has already commenced and Axon will stand ready to do it all again with them.
