S&J had bought and sold a few properties before approaching Axon, so they were wonderful to coach and strategise with. After building IP#1 with us in 2019/20, they have now built another IP with us over the last 9 months. Here’s where things get funky for them, real quick…

Mr S was unexpectedly discharged from the ADF last year. You all know the drill… you’re notified something like, “𝘚𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦, 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘩𝘴, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘷𝘢𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘔𝘘 𝘦𝘵𝘤.” With a young family, S&J needed a roof over their heads, stat! A daunting situation for anyone.

Fortunately, the location and configuration of IP#1 was suitable for them to occupy 🫡. This beautiful house is now their PPOR. (I have included a photo of this house for your reference). They have since included a pool for the kids, a built-in BBQ for Mr S, and have really made it their home!

With approx $400K capital growth since 2020, there was a bunch of equity in that house, which S&J used to acquire the investment property I am showcasing here.

* Bank valuation on a comparable property 2 weeks ago… $800K!!

When I disclosed the bank valuation to S&J this morning, Mrs J shrieked with joy along with a very loud “Get Fkd!” 😂 It’s such a joy to be involved in these key events for our community.

I want you all to imagine where this family might be now if they had nothing to move into. With a rental crisis in SEQLD, there is a chance they would be on the street or living out of their car… Their willingness to have property whilst still serving has literally saved them from a potentially bad situation!

It’s no surprise to learn that S&J will roll 🚎 straight into another investment property very soon. I look forward to sharing that with you in due course!
