After watching our free online training, Sam came to us in 2020. He was only 25 years old and had a healthy deposit saved for his first investment property. 🏡

A budding Army Combat Engineer living in Sydney with 8 years of ADF service, he wanted his first investment property. That property was successfully built in a massive master-planned estate in SEQLD during the CV-19 period (2020/21). The purchase price was $555K. The estimated value now is ~$900K. Not a bad outcome. 🤑

As part of the post-build coaching, it was decided we should create a plan for Sam to rinse and repeat. Whilst the land took longer than expected to develop and register, this delay did not cost any money, it was just a game of patience. And it turned out to be a wait well worth waiting for! I’ve just completed my second build with Axon and I never imagined owning a portfolio of two properties just before my 30th birthday. It’s truly remarkable.

The process was probably smoother than the first time, now that the COVID hangover is past. The build was completed much faster, and the property was only advertised for three days before securing tenants.

The team was always informative, and you can be as hands-off or on as you’d like, depending on your lifestyle and work commitments.

All I can say is I’m glad I made that initial call to Robbie four years ago. Two properties built in four years have exceeded my expectations, and I’m very thankful.

Looking ahead, Sam now has a degree in 🔬forensic science. He lives in Perth with his girlfriend and continues to proudly serve in the ADF. His ADF career has so much potential, which is supported by his excellent property portfolio. This is a formidable combination in any world. 🌎
