SUCCESS STORY of Axon ROYALTY

You have already met CJ and Sam here on our success stories—they built their own home with us back in 2020/21. CJ has served 20+ years in the RAAF, and Sam has worked in medical administration for 20+ years.

 

With a couple of teenagers living at home, by their own admission, they were not in a good financial position back then, and quite frankly, they were scared of getting into debt to enter the property market. But, they also knew they had to knuckle down, and adopt a good money mindset and habits, otherwise they would never break the cycle.

 

Check out the first image to see their first home! To this day, that house remains one of the best houses we have helped build with our clients (there are >500 properties, so it’s a decent statement!) That house has grown in value by more than $250K, so it was a very good start for CJ and Sam!

 

Following this success, in early 2023, we updated their plan. They decided they wanted to investigate the option of acquiring an investment property. When the numbers came back positive from Deb the mortgage broker, we commenced the acquisition process. Back came the feelings of being scared… even if one knows the parachute opens, it’s still scary to take another jump.

The property is located in a boutique master-planned community in SEQLD. By that, I mean it’s not a massive master plan; however, its proximity to all the growth drivers is excellent (well, the numbers speak for themselves).

“This is house #2 with the Axon team (after completing our first property with them in 2021)

The amazing planning, preparation and selection of our first build (location/design and build quality) led to some excellent property growth, which exactly as the models in the online training outlined, served to get us started for round 2. Revised coaching and planning with Robbie, property specifics and selections with Damo, financial planning with the wonderful Deb, and we were off and running into property 2. Despite the rapid changes in the building industry, we never felt safer and more supported by people who actually cared, and true to their word, see everything through.

 

The team in build support with Fran were amazing, with constant updates, regular check in’s and forward-leaning on the handover to the property manager, and just like the last build, we sometimes forgot we were building a house because everything was managed so well.

The time from handover of the property, to securing a tenant was 4 days, with the property managers (introduced by the Axon team) exceeding expectations.
