ADF HOUSING INVESTMENT PROPERTY: success story of Ambulance helicopter worker

James came to us in Aug 2023. An ex-Army RW ✈ Aircrew member working on an ambulance 🚁 helicopter in Sydney, he also had a number of other jobs on the go, including still maintaining his links to Army via some ARES days.

Yep, we specialise in those things – we were off to a good start.

With the numerous roles and varying incomes, Deb, the finance broker, had her work cut out for her… but she made it work. Phew, sourcing finance is always the most challenging part.

What you’re seeing here is the outcome of James’ first investment property. Side note: another client, whom James referred to us, let us know he has been ‘on Jimmy’s case for years to get into the property market…’. Well, here we are!

This property is situated in a growth corridor of SEQ, which has performed very well for many clients over the years. As part of our model, James and I did an end-of-build coaching session. James is now the Director of his own company and is really taking control of his future. When he discovered the ‘available/usable equity’ already in IP#1 (from capital growth), he was quick to provide direction to us, that he wanted to roll it into IP#2. Deb has checked the numbers and James has already dropped an Expression of Interest.

It’s amazing what confidence in a process and a team can do to one’s ability to act decisively.
