ADF HOUSING INVESTMENT PROPERTY: RAAF & Army Veteran Builds Long-Term Wealth

For many serving and ex-serving members, property investment can feel overwhelming, especially after a negative experience. This success story highlights how one RAAF and Army Veteran rebuilt his confidence and successfully secured a high-performing investment property in SE Queensland with the support of our ADF Property Coaches.

From Military Service to Property Investment Success

Branislav came to Axon in February 2025 after watching our free training videos and finding comfort in our relatability. After spending 15 years serving in both the Army and RAAF, Branislav is now a Veteran and single dad of 3, all under 10yrs old (which keeps him busier than ever).

Prior to our first session, we got Branislav to fill out our personal profile. There was 🔑 key information notably missing from the form, which is most unusual. During our sessions, and as I got to know Branislav, he shared that he’d used a property investment firm before (and had been 🔥 burnt, losing a significant amount of money – due to a build that just never got started). So naturally, he was cautious and guarded when it came to sharing his personal information, as I’m sure you would agree!

Branislav’s long-term goals centred around leaving his kids something so they don’t have to struggle. This endstate, coupled with his ⚡ shocking experience with another firm raised the stakes so much more!

This property is located in an area of SEQLD that shows promise of sustained and low-risk growth over many years to come. And with a build time of around 6 months, you can imagine how 😌 relieved Branislav was when there were no delays and therefore ❌ zero chance of a failed project happening again.

At the completion of the build, we facilitated a walk-through of the property with Branislav. His happiness and joy to finally have an asset to support his future was obvious. After the walk-through, he even visited Axon HQ with his kids and we shared a 🍕 meal. We love having visitors!

To even attempt another property build is a testament to Branislav’s desire to get back on the horse and try again (with a company that cares and has his best interests at heart).

Looking ahead, Branislav has more to achieve for the kids and this is only the beginning of his journey with Axon.
