Meet the team - Keelan Leeder

Welcome to our “Meet The Axon Team” series!

The Axon family is made up of exceptionally talented team members with a single mission: to empower the Defence community to secure their financial future through property.

Meet Keelan, a young professional with a 4 years of experience in the marketing world. His role will focus on outbound marketing including social media posts and the weekly newsletter as well as developing marketing automations for the team!

We asked Keelan 12 questions so you can get to know more about him:

1. Favourite quote:

“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That’s why it’s called the present.” – Master Oogway, Kung Fu Panda.

2. What do you like about working at Axon?

From my limited experience at Axon I can tell that the team here is very close knit, it’s a very welcoming environment and that can be seen for both employees and clients alike. The ability to be yourself and bring forward ideas, questions and concerns is something that is massively important and that freedom can be found here.

3. If you could write your own job title that best describes what you do here, what would it be?

Automation expert.

4. What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I’m a big music guy. Name a genre, and I will enjoy it (except Taylor Swift, sorry Swifties). I also like to DJ in my spare time. I love to travel and see the world. Other than that, I’m a Brit, so watching sport in the pub with a good pint (not a schooner) and better company is one of my favourite pastimes.

5. What’s the strangest talent you have?

Being able to name a song after hearing one second of it.

6. What is your favourite tv series?

Peaky ******* Blinders

7. What are your top 5 favourite Podcasts or Books?

  1. The Alchemist (books)
  2. Siddhartha (book)
  3. First Things First (Podcast)
  4. The Go Giver (book)
  5. The power of now (book)

8. What’s your favourite flavour of ice cream?

Pistachio.

9. What are three things still left on your bucket list?

  • Learn another language to fluency and travel the country
  • Play a DJ set to a large crowd
  • Get a hole in one

10. If you could have any superpower, which would you choose?

Be able to generate anything I desire.

11. The zombie apocalypse is coming; who are 3 people you want on your team?

  1. David Goggins
  2. Theo Von (for the vibes)
  3. Bear Grylls

12. If you were a wrestler, what would your entrance theme song be?

Killing In the name – Rage Against the Machine
