Meet The Team: Renee

Welcome to our “Meet The Team” series! The Axon family is made up of exceptionally talented team members that have a single mission: to empower people to secure their financial future through education, coaching and mentoring in the property sector.

Out of our 16 team members, 10 of them are Veterans. Our experience within the Defence community gives us a unique ability to provide strategic guidance and education for ADF members.

This week, we’re catching up with Renee, our bubbly Build Support Assistant. She served in the Army as an Admin Clerk but her career was cut short in 2018, due to injuries and she was medically discharged. She was introduced to Axon by her OC at the time and started working for them within a Client Relations role straight out of Defence. She’s even purchased her first property through our amazing team.

We asked her 12 questions so you all get to know her a little bit better:

Favourite quote? Be who you are, not what the world wants you to be – Coco Chanel.

What do you like about working at Axon? I like working in a team that is so motivated and caring of their jobs and their clients. I love working with people and knowing that I’m making a positive impact on their future wealth is a great feeling.

If you could write your own job title that best describes what you do here, what would it be? I would title the Build Support team as ‘Axon’s Angels’ because we go above and beyond for our clients.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Travelling, going to the gym, recording or organising content for my personal podcast, drinking wine and eating good food!

What’s the strangest talent you have? I can go cross-eyed but I think most people can do that so I’m really not that talented.

What is your favourite series on Netflix? This is a hard one, I have been so obsessed with Selling Sunset and Selling Tampa lately, but I also am loving Peaky Blinders.

What are your top 3 podcasts/books? Feminine Connection Podcast (maybe a little biased), Happy Hour with Lucy & Nikki Podcast & The Mortal Instructions Book Series.

What’s your favourite flavour of ice cream? Cookies & Cream!

What are three things still left on your bucket list?

  • Compete on the WBFF stage
  • Buy a one-way ticket and travel the world for a year
  • Learn how to surf

If you could have any superpower, which would you choose? Mind-reader for sure.

The zombie apocalypse is coming; who are three people you want on your team? The Rock (Dwayne Johnson), My boyfriend, Klaus Michalson

If you were a wrestler, what would be your entrance theme song? Lose Yourself – Eminem
