Robbie Turner

Robbie Turner

FOUNDER AND CEO

After spending almost 24 years in the Australian Defence Force (ADF), including multiple deployments and a lifetime of leadership across the JNCO, SNCO, and Officer ranks, I knew I wasn’t done serving. I just needed a new mission. That’s when I decided to combine my passion for property investment with my drive to help others in the Defence community build a stronger future. I founded Axon Property Group as a veteran-owned business that understands the unique challenges of military life, because I’ve lived it. Now, I get to lead an incredible team and work one-on-one with clients as a Property Coach, which is honestly the part I love most. There’s something powerful about meeting someone, helping them build a plan, shift their mindset, and take action towards real financial security. We work with current ADF members, veterans, and Defence families to help them use their Defence housing entitlements, like DHOAS and HPAS, in smart, strategic ways. Whether you’re a first-time investor or ready to grow your property portfolio, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.

Tamara Turner

Tamara Turner

Co-founder and General Manager

As General Manager at Axon, I’m passionate about building a workplace where people feel empowered, supported, and proud of the impact they create to our Defence community. From leading our operations and marketing to continuous improvement to our client experience, my focus is on building a values-driven culture where fun, growth, and high performance go hand in hand. I’m proud of our commitment to veteran employment, helping create meaningful career pathways where veterans’ skills are truly valued. Supporting the growth of our team members, both professionally and personally, is at the heart of my leadership. Before joining Axon, I built a career in high-level events management, working with global figures like Tony Blair and George Clooney, and organisations such as the Myer Community Fund.

Angie Paradise

relationship manager

My role is centred on providing long-term support, ensuring you feel informed, empowered, and genuinely cared for throughout your property journey. I collaborate closely with our tactical partners, including builders, property managers, sales agents, insurance brokers, accountants, and mortgage brokers, to make your experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. As part of Axon’s leadership team, I work alongside our CEO and GM, helping to foster a positive and connected team culture. Workplace happiness means a great deal to me, because when our team feels valued and supported, it flows naturally into how we care for our clients. Before joining Axon, I spent over 15 years in the real estate industry and was proud to be one of Axon’s referral partners. The team and clients have always been the highlights of my career, so being part of Axon and working with the defence community is a privilege.

Kelly Dulfer

Operations Executive

As Executive Assistant to Robbie, Tamara, and Angie, I support everything from Client Care and events to travel logistics and office operations, all with a focus on helping ADF members and Defence families feel supported as they build financial security through property. With 15 years in customer service and experience across Axon’s Client Care and Build Support teams, I bring a practical, client-first approach to the role. My connection to Defence runs deep, shaped by stories from my father, a former Army serviceman, and generations of family who’ve served, including my grandfather in WWII and great-grandfather in WWI. That legacy drives my passion for serving the defence community with care, commitment, and attention to detail.

Louise Stott

Property coach

I bring a diverse and hands-on background to the Coaching team. I served eight years in the Royal Australian Air Force as an Avionics Technician, which gave me a strong understanding of the Defence lifestyle and the career responsibilities that come with it. I know how busy life can be, and how important it is to have steady, reliable support when building for your future. Since transitioning from Defence, my career has spanned industrial sales and account management roles, where I have managed long-term client relationships and supported projects from planning through to delivery. Those experiences shaped my drive for customer success and reinforced my belief that great outcomes come from clear communication, trust, and genuine care. I show up authentically in both life and career. I value honest
conversations, being approachable, and creating an environment where clients feel comfortable asking questions and knowing they have someone truly in their corner. There is something special about getting to know clients along the way, having a laugh as we go, and finishing the build knowing we have created both a successful outcome and a genuine connection.

Dave Circle

Dave Simpson

lead Property specialist

As a veteran with 21 years of service in the Australian Army, retiring as a WO2, I bring discipline and dedication to helping clients achieve financial security through property. With nearly 20 years of personal portfolio-building experience and over 10 years of professional experience in the field, I collaborate with the coaches to craft and execute tailored strategies. My research focuses on identifying high-potential locations to maximise client success. Fun fact, I trained and handled Sarbi, Australia’s renowned Explosive Detection Dog (EDD) and canine war hero, reflecting my commitment to excellence in every mission.

Damian Gregor

Damian Gregson

property specialist

As a Property Specialist at Axon, I’m passionate about helping our clients succeed in property by giving them the knowledge and guidance they need at every step. Whether they’re buying their first investment, growing a property portfolio, or using Defence housing entitlements to purchase a home, I take pride in making the process clear, strategic, and stress-free. What drives me is knowing I’m helping people create real, lasting change for themselves and their families. Before joining Axon in 2019, I served 13 years in the Army as both a Fire Fighter and a Combat Engineer. I began my own property journey in 2011, and like many, I made a few mistakes early on. Now, I use that experience to help ensure our clients avoid those same pitfalls.

Justin Simmons

property specialist

Before becoming a Property Specialist at Axon, I served 16 years in the Australian Army as an Infantryman, reaching the rank of Warrant Officer Class Two. I began my property journey in 2013, before a friend introduced me to Axon. This led to using Axon’s services on multiple occasions with great success. Now, with firsthand experience as both a client and a property specialist, I’m proud to help others take advantage of Defence housing entitlements like DHOAS and HPAS, guiding them to build long-term financial security through tailored property strategies.

Blake Steadman

Property Specialist Administrator

I began my professional career at Telstra through the graduate program, where I quickly made a positive impact across the portfolios I was responsible for. After a few years, however, I realised my long-term motivation was not climbing the corporate ladder, but making tangible, meaningful contributions to real people. That mindset is what led me to Axon Property Group. Being able to contribute to the incredible work done being done here is exactly what I have been searching for. What stands out most at Axon is the genuine dedication of the team. Every decision is driven by achieving the best possible outcomes for clients, backed by clear strategy, education, and integrity. Being able to contribute to that mission, alongside people who care deeply about the Defence community, is something I am incredibly proud of.

Karina Bond

Build Support Manager

With over 20 years of experience in client-facing roles, more than a decade of which has been dedicated to the property industry, I bring a thoughtful, solutions-focused approach to my role. My career spans Marketing, Event Planning, Client Care, Project Management, and specialised Build Support, equipping me with a deep understanding of the end-to-end client journey. Throughout my time in the industry, I’ve supported hundreds of clients, including many within the defence community, helping them navigate their property journey. This work holds particular meaning for me and I’m passionate about providing guidance that is both genuine and outcome-driven. Known for my calm and considered nature, I take pride in creating a seamless and supportive experience for every client. Having worked across multiple departments, I’ve found my greatest fulfilment in supporting clients through the build phase. Watching their progress, celebrating milestones and seeing their goals come to life is truly remarkable. From Brisbane to Sydney and now back on the Gold Coast, my focus remains the same: to elevate the client experience, support the team, and ensure every journey is managed with care and professionalism.

Ciana Kohler

Build Support Coordinator

I bring over eight years’ experience across administration, operations, and client support, having worked with small businesses, recruitment teams, marketing, events, and executive leaders. Throughout my career, I have been known for being organised, adaptable, and people-focused, even in fast-paced environments when things can get challenging. This experience gave me a practical understanding of what it takes to support people effectively, and the value of clear communication, reliability, and building trust. That level of care is especially important when supporting clients through something as significant as building a property, a major life milestone that deserves clarity, confidence, and the right people around you. After relocating from Canberra to the Gold Coast, I was excited to join Axon Property Group and contribute to a team built on integrity, service, and long-term outcomes for clients. When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me attempting to wrangle my three year old tornado with a much needed iced latte in hand.

Amy Jenkins

Build Support Coordinator

Having first worked with Axon as a client, I’ve experienced the full property journey from the other side of the table. I think that gives me an incredibly unique advantage when it comes to supporting you in the right way at every stage. From navigating a land-and-build project to going through the process of selling and buying independently, it gave me a clear perspective on what’s involved… and, more importantly, what great support actually looks like. That lived experience is what I bring into my role today. I understand the questions, the pressure, and the decisions that come with building a property portfolio, particularly for ADF members and families who are balancing postings, time constraints, and housing entitlements. With my interest in real estate growing in the years since buying my first property, I realised this is where my passion lies and that working for Axon would be the perfect fit. With a background in customer service, operations, and process improvement, I’m passionate about making the experience as smooth and stress-free as possible for every client. Being part of a business that has such a meaningful impact on people’s financial futures is something I don’t take lightly, and I’m proud to now be on the inside helping others achieve what I once set out to do myself.

Kieran Circle

Kieran Spitzer

Marketing Manager

I am admittedly a little biased, but I genuinely believe the work we do at Axon is something special. Helping the Defence community secure their financial future isn’t just a job for me—it’s a mission I’m proud to be a part of. My role is simple: make sure as many people as possible know who we are and how we can support them. And when you believe in the impact you’re making, that job gets a whole lot easier. I bring over seven years of hands-on marketing experience, backed by a degree in Communications from the University of Ottawa. My journey has taken me from a start-up spirits company to a wholesale candle supplier, and even a forensic accounting firm—each role sharpening my skills across a diverse range of industries. Now, as Marketing Supervisor at Axon, I’m responsible for driving our social media presence, shaping website content, planning and executing marketing campaigns, and analysing performance metrics to ensure we’re always hitting the mark. I’m excited to leverage my experience and unique perspective to help reach the people in need and continue empowering the Defence community.

Keelan Leeder

Senior Marketing Coordinator

I’m responsible for all things email, downloadable content, and much of the copy you’ll see across Axon’s social media. I also keep our website tidy, up-to-date, and aligned with the needs of the Defence community. Since completing my degree in Business Management and Marketing in 2021, I have four years of industry experience, including a role at a leading research and development tax consultancy in London. There, I developed a passion for clearly presenting complex information, a skill that now helps me create property investment resources and communications tailored for Australian Defence Force members and Defence families. At Axon, clients and potential clients are at the heart of everything I do. Whether it’s writing about DHOAS, Defence housing entitlements, or the benefits of building a property portfolio, my focus is on delivering trusted property information that empowers the defence community to build financial security through property investment.

Daniel Way

videographer and content specialist

Since 2021, I’ve been Axon’s Content Specialist, meaning if you’ve seen it, heard it, or read it, there’s a good chance I created it. From podcasts and training series to live shows and videos that showcase the Defence community, I’m passionate about telling authentic stories that help real people. I also designed and built the custom studio at our Robina HQ (because why dream big when you can build it?). Before joining Axon, I cut my teeth in independent film and even worked on a few Hollywood blockbusters. These days, I’m a storyteller across all mediums, helping defence families, first-time investors, and veterans create their own success stories through property investment and financial security. When I’m not behind a camera, you’ll find me appreciating the nuances of the bin-truck, attending a mud-bath beauty salon or trying to remember all the Pokémon with my three kids. And when I’m too tired from that, I like to run marathons and enjoy all the amazing coffee and chai my wife makes me.
