BLUF: these are all serving ADF members that are now living in their own homes in Brisbane (aka PPOR).
They all used a combination of free money provided to them from Defence and the QLD Govt (~$11K HPAS, $15K FHOG, DHOAS loans, and $25K HomeBuilder Grant).
These are 4Br, 2.5Bathroom, DLUG, premium, brand new Townhomes. Check out the images – you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better first home, right in the heart of Brisbane’s Northern growth corridor. All properties were occupied in Nov/Dec 2021.
Investment Property Success Story Details:
- Properties: ~$530K (market appraisal of similar properties is over $600K).
We took care of the project management of these builds, interacting with the construction team from one of QLD’s best builders. The clients literally did NOTHING during the build – they just got the keys handed to them at settlement and moved in!
Looking ahead, once these ADF members post away from Brisbane, they turn these properties into pure cash cows (investment properties).
That is, they KEEP all the free money, start receiving rent, write all expenses off on tax and maintain their DHOAS loan. THREE forms of income – how good is that?
