How One ADF Veteran Secured His Retirement with the Right Timing

Timing is everything. Paul knew that if he didn’t take action while the opportunity was there, it might not come again. Nearing the end of his full-time Defence career, he wanted to secure steady additional income alongside his MSBS. That’s when he turned to Axon Property Group. I knew that if I didn’t strike while the iron was hot, it might not be as easy later.

I’m approaching the twilight of my full-time working career and wanted to create a steady additional income stream alongside my future MSBS benefits.

I’ve been good mates with Dave for a long time. We were posted together in the mid-2000s and completed our first deployments to Afghanistan together.

I spoke with him while he was transitioning out of Defence and mentioned that I would get in touch when I was ready.

I’ve now purchased my first property with Axon. We secured a tenant immediately, and that same tenant is still in the property today. We recently negotiated a new rental amount as well.

Before moving forward, I reviewed all of Axon’s available online content to make sure the approach felt like the right fit for me.

I was living overseas at the time, so I needed a team capable of making the process work despite the distance.
